Her eyes, though, are captivating too as he withdraws, still cupping her face to see both eyes the same light color and his lips twist in a crookedly boyish smile, tugging at the scarred half of his face. “Gods. Pretty soon I’m not going to be able to recognize you.” He teases, humming another gentle laugh, before he tugs her in against him and steps backwards to draw her into the house with him again, as if in search of a mirror but unwilling to part from her to look.
