"—but regardless, it is me who will bear the responsibility for what comes of this, not you." That, at least, she could carry for Finn. Would carry for him.
"Besides, I truly can't believe that your glasses are the only thing in all the world that stands between our salvation and doom. If they were that important, the gods could make another pair. If they aren't, then they aren't and the demigods can find some other way."
