That's not to say it wasn't a good shot from the newly minted Ambassador - it really was - but when a fellow Ancient on the hunt is going after the same prey unintentionally... welp, shit happens. Regardless, by the time Maea comes into view it will be to see a white deer-butt fucking off (obnoxiously, one might argue) into the undergrowth and a disgruntled looking Danta with an arrow in his shoulder.
