Luckily enough, it is a routine run this afternoon, and Zahir's information is correct, regardless of where ae'd gotten it from. Ronin has been caught in the rhythmic pounding of his feet on the sand and the huff of breath in his lungs for a long while now, such that it has quieted the itching in his bones and the fluttering feeling in his spine that makes his skin crawl. Now it's just the burn of sweet air in his throat, the way the seabreeze whips across his cheeks and the drone of the waves against the shoreline.
Where he might be immediately visible to Zahir, however, the same cannot be said for Ronin, and Torchline's newest stranger is all but hidden by the position of the sun as he alters his steps to run across the stretch of rock and back down onto the other side. The result, of course, is a near collision that the Nova avoids only by a swift sidestep and a digging of his heels into the stone.
"Gods, sorry--" He huffs automatically, reaching up to shield his eyes from the sun to gaze at the stranger properly. "Didn't see you."
