Silence overcomes them as they follow the path, stealthily wandering through the foliage and undergrowth until the rustling quiets and the doe, bent down to eat at the grass in the shadow of the Spire, and Astaroth is already quietly moving to the other side where he’s sure the creature will bolt, withdrawing the couple of daggers from the inside of his shoe in preparation.
Catching eyes with Dantalion briefly to silently announce the plan, that’s when Astaroth moves, surprisingly fast in the hopes they might pinch the doe between them and with a good amount of speed, hopefully sinking the daggers into the doe’s neck.
