Noah felt the breath fall out of his lungs as the pressure from Ronin’s weight surged away. In the time it took for Ronin to move back — which was merely a blink — Noah had attempted to get to his feet. It was more of a scrambling from the effort of the grappling, and it made Ronin’s kick land squarely on his shoulder. Noah was knocked aside by the pure force of it. Grunting as he had to stabilize himself again. He stood, a smile on his face despite the fact that the two just strained against each other in a spar.

The kick towards his head was enough for the demigod to yield. He lifted his hands, palm up, towards Ronin, before extending one for the Nova to shake. ”Thank for that. I haven’t stretched myself like that in a while.” Deimos and him mostly focused on magic, and Deimos just stood in one place most of the time.

”It’s good to know the regions are taking safeguards against this. One step is better than none.” He said, brushing soot and lava field silt off of his clothes after shaking Ronin’s hand. ”I wrote to Sunjata the same letter I wrote to you,” Noah said, an eyebrow raising with the suspicions he felt about the response, ”and I don’t trust the response. He said he did the experiment of the refuge on that Dahlia woman and “ Nothing happened. She wasn’t threatening or dangerous or acting as if she wanted to attack me. We had a surprisingly nice day, and I was completely unharmed.” But given the warnings of her, and Remi’s near death experience…it feels off. Even more dangerous.”
