If Ronin has been excited at the promise of a tournament (and he has been), finding out he's going up against Deimos of all people only ramps up that feeling. He's cleared the section of the beach where they'll be sparring, and has already warmed up by jogging most of this stretch of coastline.
Now he's stretching and trying (and failing) to centre himself, even as he hears cheers - and Flora on her Caido-equivalent-megaphone - echoing along the warm sand from the other fights taking place.
Does he think he stands a chance against the Sword?
Yes and no.
Because skill is as skill does, but Ronin's luck has always been dicey, especially under these sorts of circumstances. And so, in a tank top and a pair of lightweight sweatpants, barefoot and already looking forward to a few post-fight beers, he waits for his opponent.
Ronin waits for Deimos with no partial shift. The only item he brings from his profile is his phoenix armour, because he doesn't want to be naked if he ends up using the shift. He does not bring his companion.
