As soon as the season churned, his mind hadn’t been on the tournament. A multitude of other matters had rampaged their accord, but thereafter, everything else seemed to carry on swiftly, calmly, allowing for them to reconcile immediate, but planned, changes.In much of the same regard as most spars, the Sword didn’t hold a high threshold of feelings; composed, somewhat amused, around a track and trend he’d dedicated himself to hundreds of times before. That his opponent was Ronin was another matter altogether; they’d never been on opposing sides, as far as he could recall. A true test and scorch of abilities – and perhaps that notion alone set a thin smile upon his features.
He'd stretched and breathed, snagged at the multitudes necessary. Magic and shifts came with his blood and soul, and the gloves…certainly on. He extended a hand out to the White Knight as they met along the sands, a nod of his head included. “Good luck. Ready when you are.”
Then he paced outwards, intending to place a decent amount of space between them – and when Ronin assured Deimos he was fervent to start, the Sword unleashed a torrent of Mastered Earth proportions, lifting rocks and rubble and boulders from the ground itself and launching them towards the demigod.

Deimos waits for Ronin to ready himself, and when he is, uses his Mastered Earth to launch rocks, rubble, and boulders his way.
