"Indeed," Hadama rumbled in satisfied agreement, just as pleased with them - all of them, everyone whohad helped - as his co-ruler. "We have done exceptionally well." He walked beside Flora, his steps slower but longer so it evened out in the end, and he pulled the small cart holding the terrariums of their various quest requirements behind them. The plants were not so bad, quiet as they were, but the Abyssal Mata Mata and the Voidweaver Spider hissed and lunged at the heavy, tempered glass (yes, there were holes in the top) of their containers, ignoring the bits of vegetation and rocks that had been placed with them for comfort.
Luckily the cart could be carried with a little assistance over the more rugged aspects of the Rainbow Road, and they reached the shrine all in good order.
Hadama had brought an offering of his own for Rae: a notebook with careful sketches of all of the Void flora and fauna that he had encountered so far, and the characteristics he had observed about them. He set the notebook down beside the flowers and then knelt reverently and without concern in the ankle-deep water as Flora made her prayer.
