The aggressive response of the woman didn't surprise him considering the predicament he'd found her in, but it still hurt. He barely noticed the crackling sparks coming from the dragon as his eyes clenched in pain from the twisting of his arm. Zavien stumbled from the force of her words and the shove. Rubbing his arm, he said quietly, [say]"I understand your frustration. I see everything and it gives me no comfort."[/say] The ache in his shoulder lessened and he pointed subtly between her and the Tower. [say]"But this is going to do nothing but attract unwanted attention."[/say] His eyes glanced up to make sure no one was watching from the tall windows.
Continuing in a low voice, he pleaded, [say]"Stormbreak is my home. I want to help. Can we take this somewhere else? Please?"[/say] Zavien backed up slowly towards the courtyard, monitoring for dark figures or evil eyes. He didn't touch her this time but gave the woman a desperate look, hoping that she'd follow him.
