Well, Astaroth successfully wins the next round against Remi and Ronin pt. 2, and thus they are at a stalemate. And so, opting not to bet at all for the final (they'll find another way to tie break, he's sure), Danta settles in to watch.
And gods does it not disappoint; by the time Deimos rises as the overall victor, the Maverick is another two drinks deep, and he rolls to his feet off the lounger feeling warmed all the way through and thoroughly looking forward to continuing the celebrations elsewhere.
