“Me? Cancellin’? Never.” Thorn hums a laugh and shakes his head, already looking forward to it. It’s strange, he thinks, how holed up he had been in Torchline. Sure, he had friends but they were fellow courtesans and often he didn’t have much else in common with them. Zavien, though, was far from his usual friendships in that Thorn thinks he might be able to be a little more himself and a little less flaunty with trying to guide people toward his work.

The noodle shop is a go, though, and Thorn bounces a little on the balls of his feet as he tries to hide the excitement from his face, infected from the Accepted’s attitude. It’s a hopeless venture as he follows along, content to take in the sights on their way, curious as to who this Erica might be and excited to find out.

The shop is adorably hidden and the smell hits him with such a force that he’s even more excited, offering a little thank you to Zavien as he dips under his arm and through the curtain, following the smell as the smile broadens and he finds a seat for the two of them, eyes wide as he takes in the restaurant around them. “What do ya usually get?” He asks in his wonder, his seafoam gaze returning to the other man in full curiosity.
