He hadn't realized how far back he'd fallen behind the others until he looked up from collecting presents and saw a number of familiar heads (or hounds) outpacing him by a significant margin. He wasn't quite sure when things had gone from a mission of mercy to help deliver packages to a race to a finish line, but sometimes weird stuff happened on Caido and he came to the conclusion that he would live a longer, happier life if he just didn't think too hard about it.
