She nodded her head in understanding and made her way up the gangplank to the ship's deck, letting Lena fall behind. Up top, barrels of goods and supplies were scattered around, serving as the crew's usual form of furniture. Everyone other than her slept below deck, but the captain's quarters were their own cabin with a door facing the mast. Thal gestured amongst the barrels for Lena to take a seat. She wasn't about to offer entrance to her room when they only just met, even if she was about to share a drink with her.
Ducking through the door, she scanned her office for the bottle she had in mind. It sat in a chilled container on her shelf, its dark amber liquid visible through the frosty glass. She grabbed the bottle and a pair of drinking glasses, carrying them all back out to Lena. Pouring generous servings of the alcohol, her hand reached out to give the woman a glass. "It's my best vintage. I hope you like whiskey." A small smile was offered to accompany the beverage.
