Oh. Oh, okay, absolutely not.
Having been taking a short jaunt through the Oerwoud (don't ask why or when, idk what timelines are any more), Danta has been relaxing in the humidity of the jungle as it stretches away from the breezy coastline, right up until whatever the fuck this is happens. He's been about to enjoy the first of presumably many blushberries plucked from a nearby shrub when the rotting, stinking mass appears, and gods wouldn't it be a good day for there to be a hero around?
Alas, it's just the Maverick.
Dropping the berries and taking a few steps back, it's a soft and disbelieving laugh that escapes his lips, and he glances around at the tangle of trees and vines overhead. One tree looks promising enough - i.e., not small enough to be consumed by the creature's passing - and so Danta quickly climbs among the branches to watch, transfixed and horrified, as it shambles by.
Danta arrives and uses his first action to hahaha no thank you up a tree and out of the creature's way.
He has with him a flask of rum, a box of matches and some leftover blushberries in his pockets.
