Jude
Jude hears the commotion of pounding feet before anything else, and shouting that brings a familiar face into view when he rushes to find out what's happening. Maybe that will be his death sentence, but by the time he gets an idea of the scene, people are already attacking the monstrous creature lurking in the undergrowth.
Yelping, Jude follows in Danta's footsteps and jumps to the side to the tree nearest to him as a prayer leaps to his lips. "Safrin help us," his voice shakes, Channeling for the first time in his life though he knows he can't possibly summon the goddess herself. As he does this he fumbles for the plain bow on his back, used for scaring off animals on his travels more than fights to the death. He's involved now whether he likes it or not and he needs to be prepared.

Jude tries to hide next to the closest tree and uses Basic Channeling for help. He starts to fumble to get his basic bow and arrows into his hands!
