In a world without too many options (and having used all of his Channelling in one fell swoop, thank you thank you he'll be here all week), Mateo is starting to really feel the merit in his father's words to run. Glancing to Jude as the only other man here who isn't a giant rock-dog or hurling fire - however effectively - he skedaddles closer to his fellow Accepted, rummaging around in his Bag of Holding for the rope he'd brought.
"You think we might be able to pen it in, if you fire an arrow into one of those trees with the rope attached?" he asks breathlessly, handing said rope across in case he wants to make use of his admittedly sketchy idea. "Might slow it down if it can't go the direction it wants to." Like a weird animal pen.
Except there are dozens of animals all rolled into one.
And it might just slorp through the rope like it's nothing.
Who knows.
