Jude
Jude isn’t sure what Mateo just said but the sentiment is universally understood and he heartily agrees. The creature isn’t very fast but Jude has clearly drawn its attention in a not-so-good way, so he takes what time he can get to begin scrabbling up the tree he’s been posted at. Can this thing swallow an entire tree by walking into it? Oh gods.
He focuses more on getting as high as possible than helping the others left on the ground. Best case scenario they can take advantage of Jude’s half-time show as bait and make their respective moves. He’s not unwilling to shoot some more measly arrows (though the valiant group effort to distract the creature away from Jude is moving and doesn’t deserve to be messed up the way he’d accidentally just done) but first he needs to find secure footing. Seating? Anything really. Please.
