Instinctively avoiding the jerky and ningo - probably not a surprise to anyone that this once-plant-man is a natural vegetarian - he follows suit and copies the Sword in selecting a cracker, placing it between his lips and mimicking, as best he can, the act of chewing, until taste and instinct take over.
"That is quite pleasant," he says after swallowing, only for his stomach to loudly rumble its agreement. "Is that supposed to happen?" he asks Evie, clearly concerned.
