Shadows reached for her. Not the calming, comforting dark of Dygra, but a denser, purple-edged absence of light that had her shuddering and snarling in defiance. A thought had fire blooming in her hands; if the foul Tangleweeds wanted to grab her they would burn for it.
Magic sang in her veins. Feeding the flames with it until her hands were enveloped by bluish white conflagration, she hurled them at the monsters with a snarling outcry of sheer vehemence. It felt good to have a target. Something to take out her frustration and rage on, that had it coming for daring to appear before her when by rights they shouldn't even exist. Not in this region. Not in this world.
With the jaguar temporarily forgotten, her focus bent solely to the problem before her. At least for now.
