It was not without a certain amount of trepidation that Maea entered the Dusklight. The last time she came here had ended badly, and though she tried to put those things behind her, a certain amount of tension still stiffened her shoulders as she made her way to the back rooms. It was by invitation, to fulfill a promise she was loathe to break, and she hoped that was reason enough to avoid making anything worse.
"Hi Asta," she greeted the tall man quietly, after tapping a knuckle lightly against the door frame. "Good to see you again." Slipping out of her voat, she set it aside where it wouldn't get in the way, and began rolling up the sleeves of the plain shirt. Foregoing her usual dress for something more practical, she was ready to get started right away.
