Noah sighed. "He would have me singlehandedly work over a land that is ever-increasing its loyalty to Dygra. The ancients have found themselves a home in the Hollowed Grounds, but Vi has demanded me there. He told me I needed to wipe clear the memories of the Voice...and now it seems impossible. They are all awake because of her...and there are many more of them than there are of me."
And no one wanted to help Noah more and more everyday. Each person in his life had their own lists of priorities and his weren't any more important than theirs, in the long run.
"I could have -- I should have -- acted sooner, but out of my own selfishnes I stayed in Halo too long and now...well." Noah didn't want to say it in front of Seren, but Vi had made it clear -- he had chosen Ronin. "Thank you for wanting to help. I need to get creative."
