Hadama was a good listener, and his steady presence helped Sah open up as he shared his story. The King's following words received a nod in turn. "I agree." Safrin was a jealous goddess and was known to be manipulative at times. Sah had been aware of those tendencies from firsthand accounts before ever approaching the goddess. Yet, he had no regrets. Her possessiveness was the other half of her loyalty and care. The Abandoned had a similar, although more subdued, tendency as well. He was in no place to judge, nor did he wish to. He accepted Safrin for all of her strengths and flaws. She had earned his loyalty, and Sah would remain hers until the end of his days.
Warmth filled the Wild Thunder, and his eyes softened, "Thank you, Hadama." He meant it for both the advice and his acceptance. The approval of Safrin's Demi-god soothed another of the jagged edges left behind by the tournament. "Please do the same if you ever need my help."
