Having been lavished with attention to something approaching her heart's content, Pip flops over onto her belly, tracking Boreal's pathing as the older dragon fetches a toy. She offers a curious tilt of her head, almost deferential as she awaits permission to go for the thing- and then, satisfied, leaps out toward it, needle teeth snapping around the outstretched plaything as a game of tug-of-war begins.
Tal's hair is clean, a great relief, though the multitude of split ends earns another chastising tsk from the clean-cut Dragoon. "You need to condition, hair as thick and long as this. Otherwise your ends split- see?" He picks a stray hair from Tal's shoulder, extending it to demonstrate the fraying at its ends.
And then there's shampoo, and here comes Koa, launching eagerly into exposition about personal grooming and the selection of emollients and a number of other things that we shan't give detail on because a) it's boring, and b) I don't know much more about the topic, anyway. Let's just say Koa is animated and knowledgable, and by the end has snatched up Tal's pencil and notepad to provide a neatly written set of instructions on the Courier's personal grooming needs.
"I think that covers the basics," Koa declares some ten minutes later, sitting back and satisfiedly sipping at his tea. "We'll make a gentleman of you yet- and hey, who knows. Maybe even a Dragoon." He wiggles his eyebrows playfully, though it's only half a jest.
