Sah's eyes flickered along the steps and surrounding rocks. Nothing appeared to have happened with his air magic, and he felt completely lost. If it weren't for Lilly still eyeing the stones from where she stood in the shade of a tree, Sah would have thought Melita had left. There was a silent lull as he debated his next move.
It was only due to nearly biting his tongue to still himself that Sah didn't leap out of his skin at the sudden noise. The applause was overwhelming against the prior quiet and it made his head and ears ring. Gritting his teeth and narrowing his eyes, the Wild Thunder scanned his surroundings cautiously. The applause was loud but didn't seem to have a direct source. Perhaps it was illusion magic?
Shaking his head, Sah did his best to ignore the disturbance that couldn't be anything but a diversion. He didn't know what Melita had up her sleeve but she seemed to be leaning towards magic for this fight. Decision made, Sah let one of his newer magics come to the surface. A golden aura gently outlined the Abandoned, glowing faintly with power.
