Ronin, in his naïveté, wishing only to please his husband, has not remotely considered the implications of booking a room in a brothel until Remi makes mention of it, and the Knight instantly flushes all the way to the tips of his ears. ”Oh gods no,” he blurts, laughing, though the beginnings of unless that’s what you want? are already on his tongue, warded off only by the feel of strong arms looping around his neck.
Breathing a sigh of relief that has his shoulders relaxing beneath Remi’s grip, he draws the Bastion close against his chest and leans in to press a chaste and lingering kiss against the corner of his mouth. ”At least it was received positively, even with the initial confusion.” He grins. ”Come on.”
Keeping an arm securely around Remi’s waist as they meander up to the entrance of the House of Midnight, the two men will be greeted by the sort of plush luxury and deep colours almost typical of the Flood, though of course Ronin is only really interested in the room he’s booked. Leaning in to have a brief conversation with the buxom young woman who comes to greet them, it isn’t long before they are led down a warmly lit corridor, pausing before a gilded door.
Thanking the woman and accepting a key, Ronin immediately offers it out to Remi. ”Whatever you want, remember?”
