Breathing harshly, she was faintly aware that darkness began to set in on her vision. The reason was unclear. Exertion, cold, emotional strain - it could be either or all of them, just as it could be either that caused a trickle of blood to start from her nose. Body and mind were reaching a limit, and yet she couldn't bring herself to stop.
