Though Torchline's soldiers were certainly not the well-regimented force that the Dragoons were, Koa would find that the queen's calls had attracted the attention of a small handful of soldiers who were trotting their way.
Inside the Hanged Man hell was still breaking loose. An overturned game of cards had added more fuel to an already blazing fire—and oop, wouldn't you know it, there was an actual fire as well. One of the windows was broken and its shards of glass and broken frame were being welded as crude weapons by a few patrons demanding a drink from someone who didn't work there.
