Evidence of the Halovians' resilience and determination to thrive was everywhere, making her smile in appreciation for the culture. The culture that she now got to be a part of. It helped that the Wardens lived and breathed those same ideals. Leaving the barracks behind, she decided to follow her new leader. She tried not to flinch as Belial crept closer, steeling her resolve not to shift away this time.
As they continued down the next street, Elizabeth laughed at the mental image of a gaggle of children running a general store. "I'm sure they make great employees!" She wasn't sure if it was worth the work, and she would want that many kids, but more power to others who did! Looking to Deimos, she raised her brows. "Are you and Evie thinking about having more?" That was the usual question every couple or new parent got. It didn't change the fact that she was curious whether the Wardens planned to have a little army of their own.
