Without incident is the best kind when you're on the sea, and Jack is equally as pleased to have them sail the Arclight without any further sign of ghost whales, pirates, or bullshit from Starfall. The sails remain full and the sun is high and warm without being uncomfortable, and before long the captain puts someone else at the wheel and also leaves for his cabin for a short while.
He does re-emerge once they're past Apopo, at least, tossing a lazy salute towards Melita and Flora on the way back to the helm, the captain chewing thoughtfully on a sprig of peppermint bark. "Don't throw rocks at the Mer, they won't like it!" he calls out, though maybe there's a hint of amusement in his voice. Or a hint of challenge? Jack will never tell.
