Between the clashes of her dagger against the stone, Thal was acutely aware of the approach of a man behind her. Her immediate instinct was to attack, but she chose instead to pointedly ignore him. His words drifted to her over the flat landscape, mocking her attempts to break the igneous. However, she wasn't about to let him know that, so she let the irritation sit plainly on her face as she turned to stare him down with blazing blue eyes.
