Whoa, you let your feet run wild
Time has come as we all go down
Gods, Deimos hated the desert.
But it was a safer (somewhat) alternative to Amhran exploring the necessities of his impending purpose. Not yet taken over by the Family, or mauled into complete annihilation of void properties, it harbored enough of the latter to test and ponder over, without too many looming threats. Should a landshark appear, the Sword could get them out of there – or pulverize it. Depended on the mood and situation, perhaps.
So the first stop was the Furnace – aptly named as the sweltering heat, despite the season and early morning, engulfed his feathers and he already felt the loathing reach new heights. And though the new demigod wouldn’t be able to feel the frustrations, the Sword spiraled downward, coasting easily to a dry, spiderwebbed area. From there, he landed, giving the younger man time to depart from the thunderbird’s back, before shifting readily into human form.
Already snagging at the canteens in his bag, Deimos passed one over and glanced out over the horizon – eyes narrowed before finally speaking. “Do you want to explore for a bit?” They’d likely come across something to test and mettle through.

Yeah but for the fall—oh, my—
Do you dare to look them right in the eyes?
DEIMOS
