Feeling as though they'd necessarily come to the end of it, Remi folded his fingers together and merely stared down at them in his lap. Nothing about their conversation had felt at all successful or helpful, and, in the selfish corner of his own mind, the Bastion wondered what he might have done better, where he'd gone wrong. No doubt Ronin would have known what to do, what to say.
