If she had been attuned and been familiar with the bond and the way it allowed people to share emotions she might not have minded so much - or been even more infuriated at the violation - but as things stood right now, each second that passed while enduring Vox's presence left her shuddering and sick, hands clapped over her ears despite knowing that it didn't do a lick of difference.
What she should do was book it out of Torchline as soon as possible after hearing about the bazaar. What she instead did was put on feathers and wing her not so stealthy way over there, driven by a morbid curiosity and a need to at least confirm with her own eyes what she was dealing with. Tal's retelling of his experience hadn't been too detailed, and nothing beat seeing a thing with her own eyes.
