We really did try and live with the new flora and fauna that arrived when you did." She adds, with a one-sided shrug. "Ultimately we thought a barrier to keep things out was better than just going out and killing everything." They couldn't have kept up with it, and no doubt the Reaper would know it, but it was the thought that counted.
