save your eyes for someone brighter than i will ever be
Snorting, Sunjata nods his agreement with that crooked grin back toward Flora – because honestly? Each and every LongNight he’d tried his damndest to stay indoors. This year hadn’t been all that much different – one or two excursions into the cold and snow, but for the most part? The Flood was happily content sipping his coffee or whiskey (or both) inside by the fire. “Will do.” He hums with that brighter smile of gratitude, before it fades into getting down to business.

Of course it doesn’t fade completely when it comes to the exaggerated face from the Queen of Torchline for his eyes only, and Sunjata has to actually fight himself from snorting at the comment, even as he grabs a shovel to start shoveling the debris into the cart. “Was pretty different in the Grounds all those years ago.” Comes his quieter comment, punctuated by the harsh squish of metal against dirt from the shovel as he picks up more debris along the road and dumps it into the cart with a thunk! of a sound and glass breaking, as if recalling that time he’d nearly lost his mind and gotten swept away by a LongNight monster in the dead of night.

Flora’s attention to the lighter trash and debris makes it quick and easy work for her to load into the cart (don’t worry Flora, Sunjata’s got the shovel ready to help hoist it up the second she’s ready), and for Sah it’s much of the same until this section of the road is all cleared. “Onto the next.” Comes his accented rumble, loading up the cart with his shovel to free his hands enough to push the cart easier down the road.

This section has what appears to be a handcart that got loose and broken in the snow, promptly snowed over to where the contents had vanished. Until now, where the melting snow has revealed it. A broken wheel sticks up and jars of what look to be candles, jars full of what look like oil, and a crate that’s spread its contents across the stretch of road. A crate, that by the looks of it, has a few gemstones strewn about the candelabras and metal oil lamps.

Round two!

Pick between picking up the candles, the jars, or the crate!

Sunjata speaks with an Australian accent and has a passive magic that makes him produce a subtle scent that matches exactly to whatever those around him most desire him to smell like.
