Sah sighed deeply at Flora's barbed words, "No." It was clear that she was angry at him, understandably so. But he didn't want to make things any worse by rising to her bait to try to defend himself. Sunjata's comment reminded him of something that Deimos had mentioned long ago and there's not much else that the Abandoned can do but nod. He'd only ever faced one LongNight monster, and that had apparently been the very last of them. He can't imagine what it was like when they numbered in the dozens.
Pushing his introspection to the side, Sah focused on the next tasks. The jars of oil would hopefully be easy to spot in the melting snow, so the Abandoned set his sights on them. Using water magic to move the snow out of the way, he searched for any hidden ones. When he'd collected an armful, he set them to the side before continuing his search.
