The quiet “no” from Sah doesn’t receive attention from the Flood, not as he focuses on shoveling up the debris and idle conversation. Instead, focusing briefly on the Grounds comment, Sunjata’s nose wrinkles as he nods, plunking a pile of trash into the cart. “I got lured out, once. Was fuckin’ terrible.” A shiver runs through his broad shoulders and he huffs a little sound.
Drifting deeper down the pathway to find a multitude of things from a spilled over crate and cart, Sunjata’s quite content with the quiet talk of Koa and Jack and everything else in regards to what made up small talk between not only two leaders but ones who were also essentially family these days.
As Flora picks up the candles and Sah works on picking up the jars, Sunjata steps over toward the crate and starts plucking pieces of the wet wood up into his arms, looping the broken wheel around one of his arms through two of its spokes. “Maybe they were worried about seeing that luxere sled that everyone was apparently trying to chase?” Sunjata suggests – because he’d seen the aftermath. He’d also seen the additional result of Koa without any shoes. “Koa lost his shoes.” He tacks on, flashing an amused grin to Flora, wandering between the cart and the pieces of the crate to drop the debris.
Flora’s candle adventure goes decently well, though it appears one of the candles is stuck deep in the mud from the still cold earth of the snowmelt, and it might take a bit of extra work (or help) to get the candle unstuck from where it’s currently protruding.
Sah’s attempts also have him collecting a multitude of jars, the water magic maneuvering the melting snow away to reveal more jars. One of them, he collects, is already broken and will require some extra work to remove the bits and pieces of broken glass.
Round three!
Flora’s got a stuck candle, Sah’s got a broken jar, and Sunjata’s still got more of the cart to clean up! Keep on keepin’ on!
