Maea
I feel it in the wind, my dear
The sun is gonna reappear
The sun is gonna reappear
Maea shook her head. "I have left offerings, and apologized. But no, I haven't tried praying in earnest yet. I don't know that I have any right to, for one. And for the rest... I guess I'm still afraid to be turned away. Or told to return to where I should be. It's very hypocritical, but now that I'm alive and in a body I don't detest... I kind of want to stay alive." Laughing under her breath to hear the kind of task Melita had been given, the pale-haired ancient had to admit that it was very fitting.
"Chaos, huh. Not the Dygra kind, I assume... What have you done so far?" A glimmer of mischief was slow in the coming, rising up through the layers of her being like bubbles from the deep. Once upon a time even Maea had possessed a quiet, dry kind of humor... she wondered what had happened to it. Laughing didn't come as easily to her as it once had.

Good days are gonna come along
Hold on, hold on!
Hold on, hold on!
