and on to the glory at my right hand
Perhaps wisely, Ronin only responds to Remi's comments with a quiet raise of his eyebrows; given that the Bastion answers all of the objections ready on his tongue - and ties the conversation up in a nice little bow, it's entirely unnecessary for the Knight to do anything more than let his husband work it out himself. "Mmhm," he drawls when Remi is finished, before waiting for him to select his (obviously better) training sword.
Swinging his own a few times as if to warm up his arm, Ronin can't help but scoff at his husband, though he nods his agreement nonetheless. "Typically, a rapier is used less for bullying and more for playing it smart and safe and waiting for the right opportunity. I guess we can just imagine that you always have the right opportunity by virtue of being you," he says, before spreading his hands. "Fine," he says. "Pretend you've just bullied your way to the front and I'm your opponent. Hit me with your best shot."
