THE FLOOD
// take my heart and make it feel,
take my soul and make it real
take my soul and make it real
“You didn’t.” He starts to say, wiping his hands briefly before rubbing his forehead and temple with the back of his hand, trying to wipe away some of the sweat glittering from his suntanned skin. “I was just practicing my magic.” He shrugs those broad shoulders of his casually, the compasses on his neck pointing toward her as he faces her more fully, wondering whether or not she’d intended to stick around.
A lot had changed in the years past, and he looks as though he’d certainly lived it – with the sprinkling of grey strands of hair throughout the brown, but with all the scars that remained since before the war. “As well as I can be.” He offers her, flashing a crooked smile (only these days it’s because of the scar that bisects his cheek as opposed to the roguish charm of before). “What about you?” He’d noticed the attempt at the smile, a fake one, might he add, because yes, he does remember. He used to be able to read her like a book. And it’s that more calculating look in his bright steel eyes that he scans her over, as if trying to guestimate what exactly was wrong.

starry eyed by every thought of you //

Feel free to use magic/force on Sunjata, without killing him <3
Sunjata speaks with an Australian accent and has a passive magic that makes him produce a subtle scent that matches exactly to whatever those around him most desire him to smell like.
