Still on edge from Vox's proximity, it takes him a while to come to a stop; he wants to put as much distance as he can between himself and the weird eldritch horror, as though that will quell the way his blood feels like it's suddenly begun to run in reverse.
Only when they're far enough he can no longer see where the table had been (or sooner, if Flora decrees it) does the Dragoon finally stop. letting the Queen's hand go in favor of rubbing his throbbing head. "I-- um, okay, what the fuck was that?" He waves an arm in the direction they came from, painfully aware of the jar in his pocket - the one that apparently holds his mother's dying breath.
