"Mhmm." Trying desperately to remain cool and calm on the outside, to saunter away with Koa's hand in hers as if they were nothing more than a cute couple who were going to go compare their prizes, it was likely only the too-tight grip of the queen's fingers around the dragoon's that might have otherwise given her away. Flora had gotten very good at faking it, over the years.
Turning towards Koa, as Flora gazed up at him no small part of herself wanted to kiss the concern off of his lips so that they could let their combined nervous energy build into something far more pleasant than the proceeding few minutes had been. However as Koa released her hand all Flora could think to do was rake her fingers through her hair and glance nervously up the beach to make sure they weren't followed. "He's infected." The queen whispers, her tone urgent and her blue eyes wide with what the fuck. Giving her head a quick shake to stop the question that surely was on Koa's lips, Flora sighed a touch reluctantly as she explained.
"I met with Dahlia a few days ago. It...it was a thing. It was fine, but yeah. He's infected. Like with a capital I."
