The levity acts like gentle fingers, massaging the knot of stress in his chest. Koa's lips quirk in half a smile as his heartrate slowly begins to ease. "Explains why my heartbeat rises whenever I see you," he chuckles softly, wondering if she can feel the pounding of his pulse. "Though I thought ghosts were supposed to be freezing. His jaw flutters as she continues explaining, still tense with worry at this bit of news. "You asked her to chat."
