Far from laughing though, her expression remained relaxed, practical if not a bit curious. Like a blue shadow, Umbra slipped through the portal before it closed behind them and skulked towards the Doubletake with all the stiff-legged posturing or a watchdog, wings half spread to make his already considerable size seem even more impressive.
