When Elizabeth arrived at the snow-covered porch, she gave her a kind and patient smile. "Hi, ma'am. I'm Elizabeth. I understand you need help clearing your porch." Offering her a shovel and another bright tilt of her lips, she said, "You start over there and I'll start on this side so we can meet in the middle." Not waiting for a response, Elizabeth began clearing the snow.
