"I'm not going to tell anyone about you, Jack." The queen's voice is feather soft, not unlike the blankets and pillows currently sprawled around them both. Though he'd handed her the leash, there'd never once been any tension on it, no need to have ever tugged at him with it. Even when they'd fought, even when he was being a bastard, it never occurred to Flora to ever try and actually bring him to heel. The only thing that might see her anger burn that brightly was if he hurt some member of her family, but honestly these days he'd likely need her help just to accomplish something like that. While Jack might think it foolish of her to shrug off such a powerful option, don't worry: Flora can still ruin your life in other ways.
