Jotting down a few words about the interesting mannerisms of the various boney creatures to compare with the rumors later, Elizabeth's eyes scanned the beginnings of human greed interfering with their unnatural activities. She had no personal interest in the scrambling for the oddly metallic sphere rolling through the sand. In fact, she couldn't care less about who ended up with the object. She did, however, find the forming of teams and competitiveness extremely fascinating.
Elizabeth stood off to the side, trying to observe the individual participants and their actions. A distant face looked vaguely like Evie, but she didn't call out, too focused on her own research to possibly influence the outcome. Despite that, a small hope lingered in her chest that the orb might get tossed her direction amongst all the insanity. She wouldn't mind getting a closer look at its structure and function.
Elizabeth does nothing. She observes and waits to see if the ball gets thrown her way in the chaos.
