While Jack might have been the Thieves Guild's most active member, Flora couldn't really invite both he and Asta to help her at the same time given the sort of thoughts bound to run through both of their heads, and since Honey didn't want to write with herself for some strange reason meaning that swapping out captain for Maverick seemed to make the most sense. Besides, it wasn't as though the queen didn't enjoy Danta's company for its own sake, and she did need to test out their ancient-abilities on Seren's orb so she could report whatever happened back to her sister.
She'd make it up to Jack later, if he felt left out.
Waiting for the pair on the beach with her toes in the water and her shoes discarded nearby, Flora closes her eyes against the salty sea breeze that tugs softly at her curls that she might tilt her chin up towards the sun and bask in the warmth.
