“Looks as though it is.” Astaroth confirms, until Flora’s chiming in and informing him that there is in fact fountain water on her. Nodding, he focuses on the orb, pausing before the fire sparks to life to hear that it’s from space. It makes it a more unique challenge, though for the purpose he doesn’t know.
He doesn’t ask, either, not as both his and Danta’s fire pelt the orb and it remains. Not melted as expected with the white hot heat of Danta’s magic, and so the butcher huffs a sigh through his nose with a little frustration, before he’s bending to pull out the knife from his boot, flashing an apologetic glance back toward Flora and Danta as he steps forth, closer to the orb and takes a deep breath.
Unlike the climb, where most of his bloodbane scars resided along his chest with the rest of his scars, the blade gets pressed to the inside of his arm, cutting deep enough to spark the bloodbane within him and aim the attack onto the orb.
Still not as strong as he used to be, it fucking hurts, and it’s with a tight jaw and a “fuck,” said under his breath, blood drips right down his arm into the sand below, ruby red and vibrant as it stains his olive skin. All the while watching the orb to see if it does anything.
